Representatives of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the State of Washington met with Erick Rabins of PNRI Genetics.

It was emphasized that the next chapter of Uzbekistan’s economic development offers significant opportunities in renewable energy, biotechnology, modern agriculture, and innovation.
The parties exchanged views on strengthening connections among researchers, entrepreneurs, startups, and investors, bringing scientific discoveries to market, and developing promising joint projects.
Particular attention was given to the potential for cooperation in clean energy technologies, genetics and biotechnology, agricultural productivity, food security, and innovative manufacturing.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed interest in expanding ties between the scientific, innovation, and investment communities of Uzbekistan and Washington State and transforming promising initiatives into practical projects.
