Connectivity is more than infrastructure-it is a gateway to opportunity.
At the invitation of Michael Feldman and Laura Chirot, representatives of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the State of Washington visited the Amazon Spheres in Seattle.
The meeting featured an engaging and forward-looking discussion on promising areas of cooperation and ways to build stronger bridges between Uzbekistan’s rapidly growing digital economy and Amazon’s global innovation capabilities.
It was emphasized that delivering advanced, reliable, and affordable connectivity to the public can create a powerful multiplier effect throughout the economy and society. In particular, such infrastructure can:
-
- expand access to educational resources;
- support entrepreneurs and startups;
- accelerate digital public and private services;
- create new economic opportunities across regions; and
- promote innovation and digital inclusion.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue the dialogue with the aim of transforming shared proposals and ideas into practical, meaningful, and mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Amazon.
The Consulate General expressed its sincere appreciation to Michael Feldman and Laura Chirot for their warm hospitality and the substantive, forward-looking discussion.
