Representatives of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the State of Washington met with Eun-ji Seo, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle and a highly experienced and distinguished career diplomat.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the strong and enduring strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea. It was emphasized that relations between the two countries continue to serve as a successful model of mutually beneficial cooperation across a wide range of sectors.
The parties also exchanged views on opportunities to further advance Uzbekistan–Korea cooperation in the United States. Particular attention was given to potential joint initiatives in information technology, innovation, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and other high-tech industries.
It was noted that the growing presence of Uzbek and Korean companies in the U.S. market creates significant opportunities to establish new connections between the two countries’ business communities, exchange expertise, and develop promising joint projects.
The parties expressed their readiness to maintain regular dialogue, strengthen ties between business representatives, and effectively utilize the potential of the Uzbekistan–Korea strategic partnership in the United States.
