In this capacity, he acted as the Ministry\u2019s official spokesperson and coordinated public communications, media relations, and engagement with domestic and international press.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier in his diplomatic career, Mr. Burkhanov served at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Washington, D.C., where his portfolio included public diplomacy, media relations, tourism, education, healthcare, and other areas of bilateral cooperation. He also oversaw Uzbekistan\u2019s bilateral relations with Brazil.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A career diplomat, Mr. Burkhanov has held various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including roles in the Department for Cooperation with the United Nations and Other International Organizations and the Consolidated Information and Analytical Department. He also served at the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Beyond his diplomatic service, Mr. Burkhanov worked as Deputy Director of the Department responsible for integrating innovative solutions into public administration at Uzbekistan\u2019s Ministry of Innovative Development.
