{"id":1963,"date":"2026-06-23T00:55:03","date_gmt":"2026-06-23T00:55:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uzconsulwa.org\/?page_id=1963"},"modified":"2026-06-23T00:55:44","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T00:55:44","slug":"biometrik","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/uzconsulwa.org\/?page_id=1963","title":{"rendered":"Biometric Passport for International Travel"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4>\ud83c\udf0e Consular Jurisdiction<\/h4>\n<p>The Consulate General provides consular services to citizens residing in the following U.S. states:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Washington<\/li>\n<li>Oregon<\/li>\n<li>Idaho<\/li>\n<li>Montana<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Citizens residing outside the above-mentioned states are kindly requested to contact either the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Washington, D.C. or the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>\ud83d\udc64 Eligible Applicants<\/h4>\n<p>The following categories of citizens may apply for a biometric passport for international travel:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Citizens permanently registered in Uzbekistan who are temporarily residing abroad and registered with the Consular Section under temporary consular registration;<\/li>\n<li>Citizens who officially departed Uzbekistan for permanent residence abroad and are registered under permanent consular registration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>\u2139\ufe0f Important Information<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2705 Applicants must appear in person at the Consular Section to apply for a passport.<\/li>\n<li>\u2705 Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.<\/li>\n<li>\u2705 Before submitting documents, applicants must complete the electronic application form via the Electronic Application System.<\/li>\n<li>\u2705 After verification of documents, the date and time of the consular appointment will be scheduled.<\/li>\n<li>\u2705 The processing time for a new passport is approximately 1.5\u20132 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>\ud83d\udcd1 Required Documents<\/h4>\n<h4>For Adult Applicants<\/h4>\n<p>Applicants must submit the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electronic application form;<\/li>\n<li>Original and copy of the current or previous passport;<\/li>\n<li>Proof of consular registration;<\/li>\n<li>One color photograph (35\u00d745 mm);<\/li>\n<li>Documents confirming lawful residence in the United States, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Green Card;<\/li>\n<li>Visa;<\/li>\n<li>I-20;<\/li>\n<li>Work Permit;<\/li>\n<li>Employment Letter, etc.;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Money Order or bank check for consular fees;<\/li>\n<li>Military registration documents, if applicable, for applicants aged 18\u201327.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For Minors<\/h4>\n<p>Additional documents for children include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Birth certificate;<\/li>\n<li>Parents\u2019 passports;<\/li>\n<li>Parental consent statement;<\/li>\n<li>Apostilled or legalized birth certificate for children born in the U.S. or Canada;<\/li>\n<li>Accompanying person\u2019s notarized statement, if required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>\ud83d\udcb0 Consular Fees<\/h4>\n<table style=\"width: 100%;
